Still another reasons that debunks the “Fredbear did the Bite of 87” thing is that on Night 5 (while Jermey Fitzgerald still was a night guard) Phone Guy mentioned that Fredbear’s Family Diner had been closed down for years, which since the one in FNaF 4 is Fredbear’s Family Diner that Fredbear did the Bite of 83, which it can’t work the other way around if Fredbear’s Family Diner had been closed down for years (and with FNaF 4 showing the Bite of 83 incident being four years prior to the Bite of 87 one), and that BV had his whole head chomped by Fredbear and later met his demise in the hospital (because of the flatline) while whoever had got bitten in the Bite of 87 incident not only survived, but also lost their own frontal lobe.

The books kinda say otherwise as well. Hear me out: I'm one of those people who think burntrap and mimic are separate. Reasons: on the mimic in ruin we see the remains of a springlock endo which lines up perfectly with the books. Burntrap on the other hand IS a springlock endo, and also why would Vanny go looking for a random endo with a corpse on it, then bring it to a charging station after putting a rabbit suit on it? Not just that but we also need to take into account that its been implied (if not confirmed to an extent in HW) that some of the fnaf games are in universe indie games, so scraptrap might not even look like that. Also that opens the idea of the BOOKS being in universe goosebumps knock offs made by FE based on rumours and actual in timeline events. It's not a flawless theory, but looking at the evidence and how some characters in books parallel to their supposed in game counterparts, it makes sense
